On the second day of the Hyojeong Cheongpyeong Great Works Commemorating the 6th Anniversary of the Holy Ascension of Sun Myung Moon, the True Parent of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind, The Hope! Paul Potts and Little Angels’ Hope Concert was held in the CheongShim Peace World Center.
Paul Potts sang “My Heart Will Go On”, which is the theme of the movie “Titanic”, with a beautiful performance by conductor David Eaton and the Western Symphony orchestra of Korea. There were performances as well by some of the most talented musical actors within Korea, Kolleen Park and Jaerim Choi. The chorus of “O Sole Mio” with the Little Angels brought the mood in the hall to its peak. Paul Potts added warmth to the event with a congratulatory message to the audience in Korean when he said, “Congratulations on the Hyojeong Blessing Ceremony!”
In return for the audience’s passionate cheers, Paul Potts sang the Korean song, “Longing for Mt. Geumgang” and there was a wave of impressive emotion. The last song “Nessun dorma” brought the wonderful evening to a satisfying close.
Members from all around the world who watched with True Parents shed emotional tears with each beautiful song. Mr. S.U.(20s) from the Haeyang Ocean District shared his feeling, “The performances of Paul Potts and Little Angels were very touching, and I was able to see how great it was to spread peace through song.”
