The Great Works started at 6:10 am on the first day of May 4 with the opening prayer to True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind at Jeongshim Won prayer hall. Jeongshim Won prayer hall was filled with members from all over the world, who had come to visit the Hyojeong Cheonwon Cheongpyeong Holy Ground. The emcee, Vice President Myong-kwan Lee, emphasized that the opening prayer was a most precious time with amazing grace, in which those who prayed with a loud voice with sincere mind and devotion could fulfill all of their wishes. He also introduced the various events of grace prepared throughout the Great Works and went over the schedule. The main events of the first day were the address by FFWPU International President Sun Jin Moon and the opening ceremony. Following True Parents’ words, “From 2018, make every second day of the Hyojeong Azalea Festival in May an International Azalea Festival,” the second day of the Azalea Festival opened with the 2018 Hyojeong International Azalea Festival in Cheongpyeong at the CheongShim Peace World Center. The participants could enjoy songs, dance, and food from each country. Other important events of the second day were the chanyang, 2018 Hyojeong Prayer-Wish Offering Ceremony for Restoration to Inherit Heavenly Fortune centering on True Parents, and the Hyojeong Cultural Festival to Commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Moon Hyo Jin Nim’s Ascension. The third day’s schedule included the Ancestor Liberation Ceremony and Ancestor Blessing Ceremony.
 Vice President Myong-kwan Lee gave the message that all members would receive an enormous grace from this Great Works which was directly governed by True Father in Heaven and True Mother on Earth. After the preparation holy song “the Grace of the Holy Garden,” the opening of the Azalea Festival was proclaimed, and it was followed by the Cheon Il Guk anthem, bow, and Family Pledge. Then Family Federation Headquarters for a Heavenly Korea, and Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center President, Rev. Gi-Seong Lee read aloud the following words of True Parents:

“When you face a difficult problem, resolve it with prayer. … Prayer enables a relationship based on God’s standard of heart. When you pray about an issue with a serious heart of concern for God and the nation, God will certainly teach you what was before and what is to come.” (CSG8.2.4:20)

President Gi-seong Lee offered the opening prayer to True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind.

“Today I sincerely wish that we may realize the mission as blessed families and heavenly tribal messiahs in this era, so that those who live on the earth can fulfill our earthly responsibilities and all of our responsibility in the spirit world so that we may liberate the sorrowful heart of God. I also sincerely wish that this time can be a blessed Great Works, in which we can completely liberate our numerous ancestors, who had been unutterably suffering and roaming about for so long. Therefore, let us have a new start by fulfilling our titles, central blessed families and heavenly tribal messiahs, let us become blessed families who can be upheld in the Cheon Bo Won (heavenly genealogy center), which is being constructed. Hence, please help us to be people who completely attend True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind, who presently dwell with us here on the earth.”

After the prayer, all participants sang the holy song, “Grace of the Holy Garden” with the guidance of Vice President Myong-kwan Lee, and prayed out loud together with all members and shouted Danshimga song and Three Cheers of Eog Mansei. Many participants from around the world experienced amazing grace from Heaven. We would like to introduce some of their testimonies.
