On the morning of the third day of the Great Works (Feb. 22, 2018), the Rally for a Hopeful March Forward for a Heavenly Korea (from here on Rally for a Hopeful March Forward) was held with True Parents and International President Sun Jin Moon; WFWP International President Yeon-ah Moon; Family Federation Headquarters for a Heavenly Korea, and Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center President, Rev. Gi-Seong Lee; UPF-Korea President Mr. Kwang Seok Song; and Korea International Association of Youth and Students for Peace President Hyeon-yeong Lee. There also were 16,000 participants gathered at the CheongShim Peace World Center, including leaders from other fields, blessed families and ambassadors for peace.

The Rally for a Hopeful March Forward was held under the theme “Let us walk the road of hyojeong with Heaven, in divine spirit and truth.” This event was to encourage all the participants to carry out their original mission to lead the campaign for saving the country, and to realize God’s dream of a peaceful world and the hope of humanity, in accordance with True Parents’ ideal: Love Heaven, Love Humankind, and Love the Nation.

The event was followed by President Gi-seong Lee’s opening speech, the resolution ceremony by the FFWPU for a Hopeful March Forward, a commemorative video, a Hyojeong cultural performance, an introductory ceremony to the Hyojeong Wish Fulfillment Papers, and a “performance of hope” (희망공연).

Members from around the world have joined the Resolution for a Hopeful March Forward. They also have vowed to join the FFWPU’s vision of peace, and to join Heavenly Parent’s ideal to realize the providential Cheon Il Guk that our Heavenly Parent has wished for since the beginning of history.
Prior to making their resolution, chanyang yeoksa and the offering ceremony for the Hyojeong Wish Fulfillment Papers were held. It was the second time that chanyang was held at the CheongShim Peace World Center. Thousands of members from all over the world gathered to do chanyang. With a strong desire for the providential works of the Holy Spirit, the participants sang the Grace of the Holy Garden in unison to the sound of the drum and keyboard, which filled the gigantic CheongShim Peace World Center. After chanyang yeoksa, Director of the Cheon Eui Won Committee, Young-hui Kim prayed as follows, “Please guide us to practice the words of truth, cultivate our character and form ideal families through the Blessing, so that we can give the people of the world strength, courage and hope, as we walk the path of firm believers who bring joy and glory to Heaven.”
Under the theme of “The path of Hyojeong through divine spirit and truth”, the screening of the documentary showed True Parents’ life course for the salvation of humankind, the realization of a peaceful world, and the history of FFWPU to save the nation and world, guided by True Parents’ vision and teaching.
In the Hyojeong cultural performance, the Hwajeong samulnori team (Korean traditional percussion quartet) collaborated with the Japanese Yosakoi dance team. The Hwajeong samulnori team had spread the message of hyojeong culture worldwide, by winning the grand prize at the harmony festival for foreigners, hosted by Korean Ministry of Public Administration and Security.
A Unification choir which consisted of first, second, and third generations sang “Tomorrow”, “행복을 주는 사람” (“A person who shares joy”) and “Sangnoksu” (“Evergreens”). During the choir performance, Bo-yeon Kim and Jin-seok Lee, both representatives of the second and third generations, shared their testimonies of faith and made the atmosphere of the venue one of gratitude and blessing.

The final performance “희망공연” concluded the Rally for a Hopeful March Forward with 5,000 youth who danced to the song “무조건” (“Unconditional”) with everyone singing along as they made a resolution to reveal the truth and realize Vision 2020 in accordance with True Parents’ direction.    

In this Year of the Golden Dog, 2018, starting with the Rally for a Hopeful March Forward, the Family Federation for a Heavenly Korea will hold a similar Rally for a Hopeful March Forward in five regions including Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungcheong, Honam, and Yeongnam in order to realize the ideals of one family under God, based on True Parents’ vision for peace.
